CCF is the world’s leading organization dedicated to saving the Cheetah in the wild and has a set of integrated programs aimed at addressing the principal of threats to the Cheetah.

While CCF aimed towards the protection of the Cheetah they also offer various day visits (and activities) giving you the opportunity to spend your day amongst the Cheetahs.

Cheetah Feeding gives visitors the opportunity to meet CCF residents who cannot be released into the wild (See more)
Cheetah Run gives visitors the opportunity to experience the thrill of seeing Cheetah’s running close-up when joining them for their morning exercise (See more)
Cheetah Drive is the optimal photo-opportunity as visitors are taken around the center to meet some of the residents (See more)

Did you know that the natural habitat of the Cheetah in the wild has shrunk dramatically all over the world, thus the fastest terrestrial animal on the planet has become a highly endangered species. With about 2,500 animals, Namibia boasts the largest Cheetah Population on earth. In order to protect Cheetah’s in Namibia, the Cheetah Conservation Fund (CCF) was founded in 1990.

Through the Savannah

we have three different types of accommodation available

Frans Indongo Lodge, situated in the heart of Savannah on a 120 km² farm, hosts a range of Game. Apart from the Gemsbok, Zebra, Kudu and Springbok there are also a range of rarer Game species like the Eland, Sable, Roan Antelope, Impala, and the Black Wildebeest. At Frans Indongo Lodge, we offer a 2-hour Game Drive, in an open off-road vehicle, which allows for several photo opportunities in the heart of Namibia Savannah Bush Feld.

There are three unique foot trails, with different lengths, for the more adventurous guest where you might just encounter an Antelope or two on your hike.

Several hilltops are available on the foot trails, giving you an amazing panoramic view of the vast Bush Savannah Plains right across to Waterberg, Namibia.

Due to the range of vegetation, a botanist has numbered many typical trees and shrubs to the “Pocket List of Southern African Indigenous Trees”.
